Pokemon GO has partnered with Verizon to offer some exclusive Partner Research — here's what you need to know.
For the first time, Pokemon GO has partnered with Verizon to offer Partner Research to Trainers in the United States. Having kicked off yesterday, Sept. 1, US Trainers will be able to claim a ticket to access special Partner Research. Partner Research is timed research that you can access using an event ticket. Once redeemed, players can take part in the Partner Research at any time dirung the Season of Light.
Special rewards are on offer to participating players, including in-game items and unsual Pokemon encounters. So, how can players take part?
How to Access Pokemon GO Verizon Partner Research
In order to be eligible for Pokemon GO's Verizon Partner Research, players must be Verizon customers in the United States. From Sept. 1, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. local time to Nov. 30, 2022, at 9:00 p.m. local time, eligible US Verizon customers will be able to claim a ticket by visiting the Verizon UP Rewards Center in the My Verizon app.
The following steps will allow players to claim access:
- Open the My Verizon app.
- Go to the Verizon Up section of the app.
- Select the Pokémon GO Partner Research offer to receive your code.
Players can earn XP, Stardust, 100 Gengar Mega Energy, an Incubator, a Poffin, a Lucky Egg, and more. Completing the Partner Research tasks offers a chance to encounter Gengar, Clamperl, Pawniard, and Espurr, with all but Pawniard being a possible Shiny.
