Confused about what Dragonriding is in World of Warcraft Dragonflight? We've got you covered.

In a live stream that went in-depth with all the new mechanics coming in the expansion, the developers discussed an overwhelming amount of features that they plan to add. In particular, they focused some of their conversations on Dragonriding.

Here's everything you need to know about Dragonriding.

World of Warcraft Dragonflight: Dragonriding Explained

In World of Warcraft, Dragonriding is a skill that you will be able to level up and upgrade over time. To start, you will be capable of obtaining four different Dragon isles Drakes. With them, you will be able to master new maneuvers, hunt down ancient glyphs to advance your Dragonriding skill tree, and more. Another part of Dragonriding that was pointed out was that inexperienced individuals will get knocked right out of the sky by denizens of the Dragon Isles, so it's best to practice your skill.

In the Expansion Reveal show, the developers revealed that they are "aiming to shake up movement with this new system, providing players with a deeper immersion with forces like momentum and gravity." It's a feature that's completely unique from anything from World of Warcraft so far.

Additionally, as you explore the new Dragon Isles region and reach the maximum level, you can complete additional challenges to unlock customization options for your drake. These include collecting appearance items for the drake's armor, snout, horns, tails, and so forth.

Overall, it seems that there are many exciting new features that Blizzard is including in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
