After Resurgence's successful launch in the original Warzone, fans are wondering when it will be coming to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
Resurgence quickly became a fan-favorite mode. As players spawned into smaller maps, like Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep, they experienced nonstop action across a condensed area without having to worry about long rotates or slow gameplay. With respawns enabled, players adopted an aggressive, fast play style that kept games quick and exciting.
Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep are not available to play in Warzone 2. Instead, fans have been confined to Al Mazrah, the second largest Battle Royale map in Call of Duty.
Fortunately, players will not have to wait much longer for the return of Resurgence mode.
When Does Resurgence Come Back to Warzone 2.0?
Resurgence will be back in Warzone 2 on Feb. 15. Among the many changes coming with Season 2, Resurgence mode will be making its way back to the Battle Royale.
Instead of bringing back Rebirth Island or Fortune's Keep, Season 2 will introduce Ashika Island, a new map for Resurgence and DMZ gameplay. The Japanese-inspired map consists of seven POIs that stretch across an area that is slightly smaller than Fortune's Keep, but significantly larger than Rebirth Island.
Ashika Island promises a return to the chaotic nature of Resurgence. With so few POIs, off-spawn engagements will be higher than ever.
Fans can enjoy the latest map once Season 2 goes live at 1 p.m. ET on Feb. 15.
