We've compiled a guide on what trainers can expect from Pokemon GO Fest 2022.
Thanks to what appears to be a misfire on Niantic Labs' end as well as the swift reflexes of Leek Duck, a local NYC trainer and one of the prominent Pokemon GO resource curators, we officially have concrete information regarding this year's Pokemon GO Fest. Tickets for the event were briefly on sale earlier today, April 27, alongside a rundown of what to expect.
When is Pokemon GO Fest 2022?
Pokemon GO Fest 2022 will take place the first weekend of June -- Saturday, June 4 to Sunday, June 5 -- from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., local time. There will also be a bonus finale on Saturday, Aug. 27.
As usual, the event will be "remote" with programming for all trainers with a desire to participate. There will be two tiers to opt-in to: a paid tier via ticket purchase and a free tier for those without tickets. We'll be including information for each in the appropriate sections below.
This year, the event will once again feature habitats. There are four that will rotate throughout the entire two-day duration. These are:
- City
- Plains
- Rainforest
- Tundra
Ticket holders are eligible for extra spawns per habitat by using an Incense.
