The Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn originally was open to only players who got a ticket to go to Las Vegas, but is planned to go global from Feb. 25 to Feb. 26.
With the event going global, more players will have the chance to partake in catching some of their favorite Pokémon who came from the Hoenn region. The event will primarily feature not only normal Hoenn Pokémon, but the legendaries who hail from that region as well; Latios, Rayquaza, Kyogre and Groudon, the last two being the typical stars of the Generation III games.
As with every Pokémon GO event, there are special tasks for players to complete so that they can get access to some items that will be helpful in catching and raising their team of their favorite Pokémon.
Pokémon GO Primal Rumblings Event Research Tasks
The first set of Research Tasks for players to complete for the event primarily focuses on catching Pokémon that are in some way related to the event, with the reward for completing this set of tasks being 2,023 XP and the same amount in Stardust.
These are the page one tasks with their individual rewards:
- Catch five Bug-, Electric-, or Water-type Pokémon: 20 Pinap Berries
- Catch five Fire-, Grass-, or Ground-type Pokémon: 20 Razz Berries
- Catch 10 Hoenn Pokémon: Three Golden Razz Berries
Here are the second page tasks and their individual rewards, the aware for completing all of these tasks is 2,023 XP, the same amount in Stardust and either a Ruby or Sapphire Ticket, which the players choose:
- Complete five Field Research tasks: 10 Poké Balls
- Power up Pokémon 10 times: Five Great Balls
- Make five Great Curveball throws: One Star Piece
Depending on the ticket the player chooses, they will have access to further tasks for the Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn.
