Now that the next-gen upgrades for Chernobylite have launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, players are wondering whether or not the game has also been added to Microsoft's ever-popular gaming subscription service. Here's the breakdown of whether or not Chernobylite is available on Xbox Game Pass.

Is Chernobylite on Xbox Game Pass?

Unfortunately, it does not appear that Chernobylite will be offered on Xbox Game Pass for the foreseeable future.

At the time of publication, Chernobylite remains listed at $29.99 USD in the Microsoft Xbox Store, and there's been no official announcement made in regards to it joining Xbox Game Pass just yet.

Spearheaded by the efforts of developer The Farm 51 and publisher All In! Games, Chernobylite is a sci-fi survival horror RPG set in a hyper-realistic, 3D-scanned recreation of Chernobyl’s Exclusion Zone.

Chernobylite was initially released on Sept. 28, 2021, and just released free next-gen upgrades for its players on April 21, 2022.

For those on Xbox Series X|S, the game’s visuals have been upgraded with the addition of ray tracing and two new graphic profiles: 4K (Dynamic) 30 FPS and 1080p (Ultra Details) 60 FPS.

In Chernobylite, players are invited to take on the role of Igor, a physicist and ex-employee of the Chernobyl Power Plant, and return to Pripyat to investigate the mysterious over 30-year disappearance of his fiancée in a non-linear storyline.
