Playing with friends in Roller Champions is one of the most fun aspects of the game. However, players may be unsure on how to actually do it.
Roller Champions is a 3v3 competitive sports game, in which players skate to gain possession of the ball and score points against their opponents. While players can play online against strangers, they can also play on a team full of friends.
Each team in Roller Champions is made up of three people, which means that players can play with up to two other friends. To do so, players need to add friends to their team by entering the main menu, and clicking on the Invite slot next to their character. From there, all players need to do is select the friend they would like to invite.
It's important to note that certain game modes, such as Limited-time Events, may have different numbers of players per team. Thus, players may be able to invite more or fewer friends depending on which mode they're playing. Additionally, players cannot make full parties of six, meaning players can only play alongside friends rather than against them.
It's also important to note that cross-play is disabled automatically, meaning players won't be able to play with friends who are using a different console. However, this can be switched to enable cross-play multiplayer. To do this on Xbox One and Xbox Series, players must allow cross-network play directly through their Xbox settings. On other platforms, players can enable cross-play through the Settings tab in the top right corner of the screen after launching the game.
