The highly anticipated Warzone 2 launched earlier this month on Nov. 16. With the hype having been built from the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Oct. 26, the community has been buzzing with excitement surrounding the newest battle royale.
All that excitement appears to have paid off, with Modern Warfare having generated over $1 billion in just 10 days. Warzone 2, like its predecessor, is free-to-play, making it more accessible for players everywhere. So, just how many players have dropped into Warzone 2?
How Many Players Are There in Warzone 2?
Over the first five days of Warzone 2's lifespan, over 25 million players have taken a dive into the game. To add more perspective, the original Warzone achieved roughly 15 million players in its first three days.
The original Warzone isn't gone for good, though. Instead, the game will continue to exist as a separate game: Warzone Caldera. It's unlikely that we'll see Warzone Caldera draw the same numbers as it once did, giving that focus has primarily shifted to Warzone 2.
Its likely, though, that we'll only see Warzone 2's player base continue to grow.
