Apex Legends data miners may have uncovered the name of the next playable Legend coming to the game.
Apex Legends Season 13: Saviors went live Tuesday, adding the usual flurry of new content headlined by Newcastle, the latest Legend to join the game's ever-growing cast of playable characters. It also added plenty of new files for data miners to peruse and peruse they did.
Soon after the update went live, Data miner Shrugtal found a section of weapon charms that have yet to see official release. After looking them over, he discovered one that made reference to a Legend named Vantage.
Another Apex Legends data miner, Twitter use @SomeoneWhoLeaks, found several Holosprays for this Vantage. These discoveries have led some players to conclude Vantage will be the next Legend to arrive in Apex Legends, setting them for a Season 14 release.
Vantage previously appeared in leaks that indicated she would be a sniper-focused recon character. An in-development set of her abilities included the following:
- Passive: Sniper Kit â Displays enemy squad info when aiming down sights
- Tactical: Echo Launch â Activates a mobile drone that scans the area for enemies and items to ping
- Ultimate: Mark to Kill â Vantage deals double damage, and her team deals an extra 15% damage, against marked targets
These abilities were never confirmed by Respawn Entertainment, and even if they were accurate when they leaked may have changed over the course of development. The studio has yet to release promotional material tying Vantage into the game's lore, so for now she remains largely unknown.
