LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kaitlyn 'Amouranth' Siragusa, a prominent Twitch streamer, has publicly called out a platform she previously collaborated with for advertising on a website that hosts deepfakes of her. Deepfakes have become a significant concern for content creators and platforms alike, as manipulated versions of influencers' images are being shared on adult websites without their consent.

This controversy arises at a time when Amouranth herself has ventured into the world of artificial intelligence, launching her own AI system through Telegram in collaboration with Forever Companion AI. 'It’s super sh**ty'

In a series of tweets, Amouranth unveiled that a website she had collaborated with in the past was paying for pre-roll advertisements on sites that showcased deepfakes of her.

“It’s super sh**ty when a platform you worked with previously decides to run advertisements on top of your deepfakes (pre-roll ad purchases with the elicit sites that feature deepfakes of ME against my will). It reeks of desperation,” she exclaimed. She continued to say, "One of the upsides about doing risque content in the digital age via platforms such as FANSLY or OnlyFans (both of whom I work with and host content on, & who this tweet is NOT directed at) is it has freed many creators from exploitation and the terrible working conditions the industry is reputed to have." Continuing in another tweet in the thread, she stated about such platforms such as OnlyFans, "It's put leverage back in the hands of individuals."

She then seethed about the deepfake site, stating, "Advertising on a deep fake sites (esp in a targeted way) is a big leap backwards. It is quite frankly disgusting that a website claiming its "committed to progressive business practices" would pay for advertising on a website that is literally titled after deepfakes.” Finally, she said, "Anyone doing this is self reporting their own doublespeak. They ultimately don't care about their customers OR their creators." "Behind closed doors, in dimly lit boardrooms, their principles go out the door in pursuit of bigger numbers," she conclusively stated.

Amouranth discusses the upsides of risque content creation

Amouranth clarified that platforms such as Fansly were not involved in the situation, emphasizing that these sites have played a significant role in liberating content creators from exploitation and improving their working conditions. She highlighted that they have provided a supportive environment that allows creators to have greater control over their content and the freedom to choose the type of content they produce.

By contrasting these platforms with the one she was criticizing, Amouranth highlighted the positive impact that Fansly has had on the industry and its commitment to empowering creators.
